Odivo is a logbook for your cars. The web app at odivoapp.com is a free beta made by Bernardo Moreno (bitsbybm.com). In short: your garage stays in your browser, there are no accounts and no ads, and nothing about your cars is sent to us.
What Odivo keeps, and where
Your cars, services, schedule, fill-ups, mileage readings and attached documents are saved in your browser's storage for odivoapp.com, on your own device. They are not uploaded anywhere, and we can't see them. Your theme and showroom settings are saved there too.
Because it all lives in the browser, clearing your browsing data for this site, or opening Odivo in a different browser or device, starts with an empty garage. Use the save icon in the showroom to back up your garage to a file, and keep that file somewhere safe. The same backup file works in the Windows app.
What Odivo sends
- VIN lookup and recall check. Only when you press Look up or Check for recalls, Odivo asks NHTSA, the US road safety agency, sending the VIN, or the make, model and year. See NHTSA's privacy policy.
- Visitor counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, so we know whether people use the beta. It uses no cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't see anything in your garage. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Hosting. odivoapp.com is served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles your IP address and browser details to deliver the page.
Exports (PDF and spreadsheets) and backups are made in your browser and downloaded to your device. Emails you send us for feedback are only used to answer you.
Children
Odivo is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
